Our congregational life team is a group of women, though we have had men on the team before, joyfully serving our church family at Knox in many different ways.  Our assignment which we chose to accept by being part of this team allows us to take part in: 

• Preparing the weekly service bulletin.
• Taking a turn on nursery duty during the church service.
• Sending cards, flowers, fruit baskets for congratulations, sympathy, best wishes etc. 
• Being a member of the prayer chain.
• Keeping the church calendar up to date.
• Preparing coffee, tea & juice and setting out goodies for coffee time after church each Sunday.
• Planning Special Sundays (Anniversary Sunday, Soup and Sandwich Sunday) for after church.
• Preparing for and serving at funeral luncheons.
• Planning family fun nights of fellowship for the congregation.
• Helping with hospitality for any other event planned by the Team Leaders.

 
The Congregation Life team holds its meetings on the second Monday of the month and try to avoid meetings in December, July, August and September.

As you can see there are lots of choices representing various interests to see that the congregation gets looked after and can feel the Spirit at work in the church.  We invite any one interested in joining us to contact Ruth or Diane for further information.  Contact information can be found in the weekly bulletin.  As well, any member of the congregation is welcome to contact Ruth or Diane at any time with comments, suggestions or to aid us in keeping abreast of others who would appreciate a card or flowers or prayers.
